I love my Lumos helmet and received the best customer care by them when I shared that my original turn signal device that came with the helmet failed to work. They were able to send me an upgraded replacement (USB-C charging vs. battery), which I love even more! My only critique is the handlebar mount. It is complicated to take on and off with those rubber bands...would be a great improvement to have a more permanent mount that slides and clicks to install/release. All in all, a great product!

Dieser Helm hat mir vor zwei Tagen mit einem Zusammenstoß mit einem Auto das Leben gerettet. Lumos der Helm ist gebrochen, doch mein Kopf ist heil geblieben, eine leichte Gehirnerschütterung habe ich bekommen. Bei den Aufprall ohne Helm wäre es der Tod gewesen. Dankeschön für dieses tolle Produkt. 🙏🏼
Availability of the product is bad. Delivery slow. Fit ist perfect. Appearance very good. The brightness of the front light is good enough for inner city rides but insufficient for unlighted paths.
Ich habe seit ca. 1,5 Jahren einen Lumos Helm mit dem ich grundsätzlich auch super zufrieden bin. Diesem lag auch die normale kleine runde Fernbedienung bei. Zumindest bei mir funktionierte diese aber leider nur semioptimal, sodass ich sie selten bis gar nicht benutze. Nun höre ich es gibt eine Fernbedienung separat zu kaufen die nicht nur deutlich stabiler sein soll (USB-C aufladung statt Batterie etc.), sondern auch noch eine Funktion freischaltet die die originale nicht kann. Bei dem Preis des Helmes bin ich echt entsetzt das hierfür nochmals ca. 30 Euro aufgerufen werden. Schade das Sicherheit auch immer gleich Teuer bedeutet.
I bought this to fit seamlessly into my Lumos Helmet and it works brilliantly. I would rate the light 5 stars. However, I feel the presentation of this product is misleading. You require a separate charging cradle or mat for this product to function. Without it, it's non-functional.
We electric bike in cities all over and love these super lightweight safe helmets. They look good too.
After a quick check after receiving the liner I now wanted to use it permanently as the temperatures dropped, Unfortunately there is a hole in it as the stitching is partly miserable. I made some pictures where you can see it.
Therefore I would like to exchange my liner.

EU#15849 - I did not like the helmet and therefore ask for return Info. Took some days to get the info and have then returned the helmeton Nov 11 and delivered Nov 12. still waiting from you for paying back the money for the helmet. No answer by mail nor within the paypal ticket. Please investigate.
The handlebar is okay, therefore kept it.
Good light but bad fit and poor attachement compared with other manufacturers. Hardly any improvement compared to their first model when it comes to comfort of wearing? Wouldnt buy it again.
I can now longer live without my complete Lumos setup. Great products!
I am pleased with my purchase but as it is a Christmas present for my grandson he has yet to try it
This product is excellent, it's solid and fits to saddle really well via 2 simple allen machine screws. The lights are held in place either by clips or magnetic, these are a separate item. I use the magnetic option for my lights. All in all a good product
The online tracking shows that the parcel NEVER LEFT the sender's address.
And the online ‘support’ is 100% USELESS. I've received over 30 emails since 6th July 2025, and the problem still hasn't been resolved. The person ‘tracking’ the issue should be dismissed.
Upon pairing with helmet; working operation correct!

Purchased this helmet almost exactly a year ago. Came here to post a review after an accident on the road involving a vehicle. I was thrown from the bike and the helmet saved my skull. Protected my brain and the lights even continued working after the helmet shattered. Posting this just after arriving back home from the ER.
