Really enjoy the flexibility to charge, carry and store four Firefly lights for my ebike.
I’ve gotten a grey helmet a couple of months ago and the quality was horrible for the grey. Have already wrote to the seller and now they’re replacing me this black one. I’ve done this replacement 14 days ago and I’ve not received the helmet and now I’m sent this email to review. How to review when I don’t even have the helmet ?
We bought 4 lights and the indicator button. I was very excited to have a higher quality, better functioning version of the cheap indicator lights we replaced but they didn't really deliver.
They are approximately 2/3 times as expensive as the non-smartphone-app, cheap indicator light sets on Amazon. The production quality is clearly better with more and better mounting options ( the magnetic snap on mount is cool). I like that turning off one light ( mostly, but sometimes not) turns off all of them, but 1. Sometimes one light fails to respond to the indicator button. Which means you think you are indicating and nothing is happening. 2. Unlike those cheaper models, there is no sound while indicating. And no lack of sound when one decides to just not indicate. 3. The smartphone app actually has fewer modes than the cheap, simple lights had despite requiring an app, a firmware update, and 15 minutes of fiddling to configure, including no way to have the light completely off when not indicating.
The app itself is clunky, confusing, and annoying to use.
The lights are clear and bright, but so were the cheap ones and these are actually a bit smaller.
Honestly, if i could still buy a 4 light indicator set on Amazon where I live I'd just buy that again instead.
Für andere Helme gibt es wirklich schöne, auffällige Hüllen. Nur nicht für den Lumos… und dann auch noch 2 Wochen Lieferzeit, da es direkt aus China kommt
Not as bright as the normal Firefly. But all works and I have no complaints.
Bought this to use with my new Riese & Müller Homage 5 FS Pinion Ebike. Comfortable, practical, stylish. Support from Lumos has been excellent.

I was happy with my new helmet, feel secure with it but it had an issue after 6 days of using it, i complain to the customer service and after some digging, we conclude that my helmet had an issue with the battery and they exchange it immediately. Since then i ride my head secure.
Can’t argue with the quality of the helmet, feels safe and lights are very good. Took a long time to deliver, considering I paid so much for the product. Also, two of the three extras never arrived and I’ve had no response from customer services about it hence my 3 star review.
The problem is that the ultra visor not yet has arrived. Is there something going wrong? The helmet has arrived.
The Visor does not stick to helmet, even though I have replaced the hook velcro pads and loop velcro pads as per the installation guide. Overall cheap quality.
Asked the support for a returnlabel via mail twice but did not get a response at all.
Bad product and bad support -> no more Lumos for me
I purchased this helmet a few weeks ago. The shipping was very quick with tracking, The helmet exceeded my expectations. The control button is solid, the magnetic chin strap works great, it is very comfortable to wear and the visor is excellent. The signal light control is easy to attach and reacts quickly with the helmet via blue tooth. Just a great product in my opinion.
Its really hard to find a bike helmet that fits my large head. This one is great and comfortable!
This helmet saved my Head and Life. The customer service was absolutely great!
The helmet fit perfectly with no adjustment required. Night visibility is excellent and the turn signals add a new dimension to night riding.
