Ich kann noch nichts sagen, da es ein Geschenk wird. Ich fand die Bestellung schwierig, da nicht wirklich ersichtlich ist welche Teile alle nötig sind damit zum Beispiel das Rücklicht funktioniert. Es wäre schön wenn es gleich ein komplettes Bundle geben würde.

Dear Lumos,
I am extremely disappointed with the service provided.
1. Your website does not allow customers to manage their orders autonomously, as is the case with most e-commerce platforms.
2. In particular, there is no option to cancel an order in a simple and immediate way.
3. A few minutes after confirming and paying for an order, I realized the mistake and opened a ticket requesting its cancellation, providing all the necessary details. To my great surprise, the order was shipped anyway, while the second order I submitted – the one with the product I had been waiting for and wishing for over months – was cancelled instead.
4. The helmet from the incorrect order appears as delivered, even though I had previously informed the building concierge not to accept the delivery. He told me that, on 11 December, the Poste Italiane employee delivered numerous parcels, among which was the one containing the helmet related to order EU#16366, which was incorrect and which I had requested to be cancelled. The concierge recognized the parcel and immediately handed it back to the courier. Unfortunately, the courier had already recorded the shipment as delivered at 11:36 a.m., as shown on the Poste Italiane website.
5. This survey feels like a mockery, “rubbing salt in the wound”, because despite the fact that I opened a ticket, no prompt solution has been found. At this point, I am no longer sure I want to continue being a promoter of your brand.
I therefore ask you to propose a concrete solution in the short term, including the possible option of a full refund.

Habe zu meinem neuen E-Bike Helm den Winter Liner dazu bestellt. Bin sehr zufrieden! Er lässt sich einfach am Helm befestigen. Besonders die Ohren sind dick geschützt. Das Material fühlt sich sehr weich und hochwertig an. Bin gespannt wie der Winter Liner nach der ersten Wäsche aussieht! Würde ihn sofort wieder kaufen, sehr zu empfehlen.

Lumos Ultra

It’s a perfect fit for my Lumos Kickstart helmet too. It’s nice to see that it was designed with a discontinued model in mind, since replacing my old helmet isn’t something I’m planning on doing right now. It’s nice to know that it’ll work with the newer helmets too though, since replacing my old one is something I know I’ll have to do eventually.

They dont habe a cabinet in Germany? IT Takes a Long Time for delivering. They Lights are butiful.

Winter Liner

This is my second Lumos Helmet. I first got the Kickstarter helmet in 2017 and loved it dearly. However, at the time it was only available in size M and that's too big for me. This and the option of having MIPS made me get the Lumos Ultra. It's a nice helmet, but to be honest, I prefer the Kickstarter model. I would have liked to have the turn signals also on the front and I have to say the breaking lights on the Lumos Ultra compared to the Kickstarter are disappointing. While in the Kickstarter version more LED's turned red and made it very noticeable, the blinking lights of the Ultra are sort of difficult to notice. It would be nice to have the option in the app to choose for example "boost" (the LEDs getting brighter) as breaking signal. I am well aware of the fact, that the Lumos E Bike Helmet is the one, that fits my wishes but again, that one only comes in the size M. Speaking of adjustments in the app - hearing the sound of the turning signal being switched on is very hard even in light traffic. I was hoping I could adjust the volume of the audio turn signal in the app - but I can't and it honestly makes me wonder how that hasn't been noticed/through of. All in all it's a fine helmet. But it is, unfortunately, again a(n expensive) compromise for me.

UPDATE:
Since I left my initial 1 star review, I contacted Lumos customer service and explained the situation. They understood my point of view and kindly agreed to provide me one charging cradle (that's what I asked for) without any extra cost. Therefore, I have of course updated my review to 3 stars :-)

I love my new firefly lights! They are super bright, the synchronization works well, they sit so sturdily in their mount - I can't see them falling out there unless in the case of an accident.... So the lights themselves get absolutely a 5 star review. But why I chose to rate them only at 1 star? Because there is no charging option included! I first couldn't believe it especially at the price point of about 50€! They can only be charged using wireless charging - no USB port on them - and there is no charger included. So, basically for your roughly 50€ you get a light that is having a little bit of charge so you can use it for the 1-2h it will last. After that? You gotta get yourself a wireless charger. And that isn't mentioned clearly on the product website - because I know I checked before buying the lights whether I need the charging cradle or not and thought it would be a "comfort item". It's not. So, the realistic price for 1 light including a charger is actually almost 70€. Now let that sink in....

Quick setup and syncs well

I never wore a helmet until now and thought I would online use it at night because of the lights. But now I’m wearing it every time I’m on my bike. I also got quite a few compliments on the look. I’ll order two more for my nephew and nieces!

Nachdem ich schon einen Lumos Helm habe, kaufte ich jetzt noch den Ultra E-Bike Helm mit zusätzlicher Winterhaube. Der Helm und die Funktion der Lichter ist wie beim ersten Helm perfekt. Das Visier könnte besser sein: ich habe noch einen Helm mit Visier eines anderen Herstellers. Das Visier geht dort weiter nach unten auf die Nase. Beim Lumos Helm ist das leider nicht der Fall, so dass jetzt im Winter sehr viel kalte Luft in den Helm gelangt. Ein etwas größer zugeschnittenes Visier wäre perfekt. Zusammen mit der Winterhaube sitzt der Helm sehr gut und hält den Kopf warm. Die Beleuchtung ist sowieso perfekt! Die Lieferung hat sehr lange gedauert, obwohl sofort abgebucht war.
Alles in Allem bin ich aber auch mit diesem Helm zufrieden und werde sicher bei Bedarf wieder auf Lumos zurückgreifen.

The remote control of my Lumos Matrix, purchased in 2021, could no longer be charged. Lumos Support immediately offered to send me a new remote control free of charge. Perfect and accommodating customer service!

Shipping: From the order (24/11/2025) to the delivery (08/12/2025) it did take some time, but considering the long shipping route the duration is understandable. The tracking of the shipment was good, only the delivery by DHL was, as so often, unreliable: delivery announcement for Saturday, cancellation, delivery announcement for Monday afternoon, simultaneously a delivery notification on Monday morning “Shipment is with the neighbor” – I was at home the whole time (!?!).

Forget the shipping issue - I am glad with me new remote!

It's a fine item but quite overpriced for what you get. There's no ability to charge these out of the box unless you buy a separate charging cradle (€20 each). There should be a clear warning on the item listing advising this. Actually, scratch that, it should be included. Otherwise they should be Usb-c like everything else.
