Unfortunately, the lights on the helmet are not working properly as an automatic update failed when the helmet was connected for the first time to the Lumos app.
Now, the helmet cannot be used, and I do not receive a response from support for days despite several emails.
Quite honestly, if I pay 275 Euros for a helmet I expect it to work,
and even more importantly, I expect immediate and friendly help when contacting support.
I think this behavior is absolutely unacceptable, and I urgently request your immediate response and support.

I have used my Lumos helmet for several years and am very happy with how it looks, fits and how the lights work.
I really like this helmet. It’s very lightweight, the ventilation is excellent, and the integrated lights are fantastic. However, the visor doesn’t provide a very clear view and tends to fog up often. As a result, I always keep it up (perhaps this won’t be an issue in summer).
This is quite frustrating since I specifically bought this helmet for the visor. Now that I don’t use it, I wish it were easier to remove, but unfortunately, that’s not an option either.
Overall, it’s a great helmet, but the visor could be significantly improved.
It would've been nice if the replacement padding would be cut like the original was. That was not the case. It is disappointing that after roughly 1 ½ years the original padding is not available. The replacement padding fits only awkwardly.

Another great addition to my Ultra Ebike helmet. I also have the winter liner as well. In New Orleans where we went from 12" of snow to over 80 degrees in a week and the mosquito is our state bird I definitely need this and the winter liner. That is what makes Lumos helmets so versatile. Plus they sync up with my 6 Firefly mini's. I LOVE Lumos and people constantly ask me about my rig and I always tell them to buy it, you will love it too!

So I had it shipped to a good friend in Bellingham.
I will arrive the end of June so I won’t see and wear it before that.

The experience with Lumos in general is so good, I have all confidence in the product I will wear on the GDMBR!
Got this and what a comfortable fit. Great lights and ease of use. Recommended to anyone that wants a really safe helmet. Great work guys
I purchased two Lumos Fireflies. They work well; however, one of my units has about a third of the battery life as the other for a total of approximately 2-3 hours of operation. I found that to be disappointing, but still workable. Pairing these with a helmet is great though.
Deze helm is van grote kwaliteit. Ziet er ook nog eens geweldig en glanzend uit. De wintervoering is geweldig, lekkere warme oren en hoofd. Naast de wintervoering ook de fireflys met de mount voor achter aangeschaft. Nu dubbele richtingaanwijzers en een remlicht. Nu heel goed en duidelijk zichtbaar in donkere omstandigheden. Het is zeker geen koopje maar voor mij de uitgave meer dan waard.
Very satisfied with the helmet, but have to subtract one star. Helmet would not pair with app and thus sync with fireflies. Turns out the helmet had to be fully charged, and set to manually update the firmware before properly working with app. Had to try several times to pair the helmet before I had any success. Once firmware was updated it worked as planned. App cannot be used as remote, since my phone will not let it keep the screen always on.
Lumos firefly is a really good product, helping you to be visible on the road and indicating your next move to other. However 3 things need to be improved.

I never received the helmet. Contacting customer service was somehow more frustrating than never receiving the helmet. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
I bought an Ultra helmet in October, mainly for a once-a-week commute. By December the handlebar switch unit was unreliable and in January stopped working altogether. I claimed under warranty. My first message was ignored but the second (10 days later) got a really quick response and a new unit was despatched in February. The design of the casing is slightly different so I hope this one is more reliable.
