My shipment is lost and I have no reply from Lumos
Love these little clip on lights for all sorts of uses. The sync feature is fab for indicators on back of my Tern Storm Shield
Excellent visibility options, customizable, and very comfortable! Highly recommend to anyone!
Limos customer service is great. We have 4 Lumos helmets and we love them. One of our new helmets didn’t hold its battery charge and we contacted Lumos for advise. They immediately offered to sent a new one. Within a few days we had a replacement helmet which works great. Thank you Lumos for keeping us safe.
Sorry to say I can’t give a review…. Now 16 days after it was shipped I still haven’t received it.
But I know it on its way…
But I hope the liner is as good as the helmet.
I didn't receive it. I sent an email to support, sent an email to the shipping company, I got no response.
Comfortable to wear great customer service
Padding for front part of helmet inadequate, it’s not thick /large enough, it’s is not same physical dimensions as original version
The lights work great. People see me and they know when I’m turning. They are easy to charge and work through many hours of riding on one charge.
The front light does not work properly. I have sent an email asking if it can be fixed / how to fix it. But no one has replied.
I did complain over my first bought helmet, the straps where not fittet well. Lumos send me a new one after a few emails of comunication. Great service new one fitt perrfect
I previously owned a Lumos Matrix and recently transitioned to the Nyxel.
The Nyxel is much lighter which is appreciable. The helmet is nicely designed and finished, very comfortable. Compared to the Matrix, it seems more prone to aerodynamic wind sounds. So far, (I have only been using it for a week), the battery life is not up to what is said on paper (<3hours). I am using it when riding on an electric unicycle and therefore I have no handlebar to hold the remote, the Nyxel is lacking and important feature of the Matrix which allows to ride with the remote tucked into the helmet (and allows charging the remote with the helmet). I am not even sure the brake lights are working properly with the remote in my Pocket. It is cheaper than the matrix and reasonably priced. I like that you can buy an optional winter liner, but I am still looking for the option to upgrade from the non Quin version to the Quin version (it is possible to buy a Quin module separately or is it built to order only?).
Overall, a very good helmet that could have been great (I would have liked the ebike version with a visor).
First, thank you for replacong the control unit. I love this helmet with the remote controls. Its convenient, easy to use and definitely helps me be seen helps to focus other riders and drivers to my opresence.
not useful. given up trying to fit it into my helmet - very fiddly, especially with just one hand.
The helmet would be perfect without a stupid face shield. Flipping it up compromises the effectiveness of the front lights.
