The Lumos Ultra Fly is the perfect balance between smart lighting and performance, coming in at under 250g for when you’re going on your weekend rides and only 280g with a Firefly attached for when you need to be seen on the road.

With all new upgrades, Ultra Fly is a road bike helmet jam-packed with new technology to keep you safe on the road whether you’re on your commute, or on your recreational ride, day or night:

  • FlexiFit Retention System: Adjust both vertically and horizontally for best fit.

Measuring your head size

Find a measuring tool Use a soft tape, rope or even your charging cable. Place it against a ruler to measure.

Measure your head Wrap it around your head, position it mid-forehead and above the eyebrows and ears.

Find your helmet size Identify if it’s a good fit. Lumos Ultra Fly fits most head shapes with the adjustable dial fit system.

Great helmet, terrible service.

This helmet was a fantastic product. I am very happy with the quality and value.
The problem came when I had an issue and emailed the customer service team at Lumos with a question. It was nearly 2 months before I got an answer and the response claimed "We’ll do our best to get back to you within 3 business days." Very disappointed!

Almost Perfect

The only issue that I have is that the adjustment and inner helmet sometimes rest on my ears. Sometimes I get the perfect adjustment but other times I am adjustments mid ride.

Once the helmet has that "fit" i consider it to be a great helmet.

How long can the Firefly lights last on the helmet?
The battery life of each Firefly light depends on the flashing mode you choose. You can find them here https://ridelumos.com/products/lumos-firefly in the “Product Specifications” dropdown. Additionally, the beauty with replaceable lights is that you can switch out a new Firefly when the existing light runs out of power.
Will the helmets be able to fit a front light?

These helmets have a Firefly compatible port only in the rear in order to minimize weight.

How would the turn signals work with this helmet?

You would not be able to show turn signals with just the single Firefly light on the helmet, but you can mount additional Firefly lights on your bike to activate turn signals.
