I remember the kickstarter and was thrilled to see it come to reality on the bigger market. I usually spend around at most $80 on a helmet in the past. But splurging with this one was well worth it. The improved battery life is significant. It eliminates the need to carry and charge the helmet for all rides longer than 2 hours. The handlebar left/right remote has not needed to be recharged since I’ve received it. The older remote signal device required weekly recharging. Nice change!!!!!!! Actual light visibility changes are hard to determine.Thank you for the upgrades. I’m a very serious 71 year old biking enthusiast. Your upgrades and changes to your products are exciting as well as comforting to me. I’m on an 8k goal this year.

May have saved my life!
I had an accident on my bicycle a few weeks ago and ended up with a punctured lung, five broken ribs, assorted scrapes and bruises and a chunk missing from my Lumos helmet. But my head was unharmed - no injury to my head whatsoever. I bought the MIPS version, and I think that my be why my neck didn't even hurt the next day.Thank you, Lumos, for this excellent product. It did its job brilliantly and I will be replacing it with another Lumos helmet.

Hatte ein Problem mit meinem Helm mit der elektrischen Verbindung, der Helm ließ sich nicht mehr aufladen. Habe Lumos zunächst angeschrieben, ob der Stecker im Helm austauschbar sei, und obwohl Lumos mir mitteilte, dass dies nicht der Fall sei, boten sie mir an, mir einen komplett neuen Helm zu schicken, obwohl ich die Quittung nicht vorlegen konnte (da ich den Helm als Geschenk erhalten hatte). Das allein ist schon bemerkenswert, während die Ausführung des Austauschs, nachdem meine Beschwerde formal erfasst worden war, schnell, professionell und äußerst effizient war. Erst als ich den neuen Helm in Spanien erhielt, wurde mir klar, dass er direkt aus Hongkong verschickt wurde. Was für ein Service!! Lumos ist unübertroffen, nicht nur in Bezug auf Produktqualität und -funktionen, sondern auch in Bezug auf die Kundenbetreuung. Wirklich geschätzt in der heutigen Welt der Digitalisierung, in der man gezwungen ist, seine Probleme selbst über einen Chatbot zu lösen (der einem nie die Antworten auf seine Fragen gibt). Anders bei Lumos, ich kommunizierte mit Donovan, der ein echter Mensch war, und das war der Schlüssel zur schnellen und effizienten Lösung des Problems. Über einen Chatbot hätte ich NIEMALS eine solche Aufmerksamkeit erreichen können.
Mein Rat an Sie für die Zukunft: ÄNDERN SIE NICHTS! IHR GESCHÄFTSMODELL FUNKTIONIERT! Und ich werde (und habe es bereits getan) Lumos allen meinen Fahrradfreunden empfehlen! Vielen Dank! Frank
