By far the best that is in the market, I wouldn't recommend anything else. Is a little bit expensive though but is worth it.
My Ultra Helmet is size M (54-61cm) and i've ordered Bug Net in size M. The delivered Box has a little Sticker (M/L) an the bug net inside is extreme too small. I'm not happy about that.
You should allready read more on Amazon. Only 1 *

The productd are awesome. Yhe customer service was terrible. I had to reach out to them to remind them i paid for tbr products so they can ship it out. After that inquiry they noted they would get back to me. They never did, they allowed the email notification that my items were shipping as their follow up. One of the items did not made no mention on the page will not sync with thr light remote the helmet ships with. You have to purchase the other remote. Only after searching forums did i learn. When reaching out to support they were like yeah sorry it wasnt clearer…. 3 stars for good product lost two for bad service.
The helmet is slick. The helmet is bright. The helmet is strong!!! I love it. I love Lumos. And the customer service is outstanding. I’m a lifer. And I recommend to everyone. Thank you, Lumos!! PS. I fell off my bike in April, hit my head, and if it wasn’t for Lumos, my precious head may not be so in tact, but also they were so supportive and incredible after.
The lights are great I use them as signals only i really wish it has a 4 way hazard option all 4 yellow flash at the sane time the magnets are strong ive hitva few bumps they haven't fallen off but my dog accidentally kicked it and it fell off also if you use daily I have to recharge them every 4 days
Fairly easy to install and includes the pads to replace the inner pad assembly. Only wish this was part of the original helmet and not necessary to order.
Bought 4, one of them the LED is not working properly, haven’t got an answer from support. Not trustable experience so far
Purchase of 2 Ultra visors which turned out to be a big disappointment. The visor is too short and does not protect or shade my eyes from the sun. I requested a refund 10 days ago for one visor that had not been opened & had no response from the company. Very disappointed!
I got my first Lumos Ultra helmet thru the original kickstarter campaign. I always liked the fit and the lights. A couple months ago I had a bike accident. I hurt my hands (they are still sore) scraped my face up, and destroyed my Cannondale road bike (bent the frame and popped multiple welds) What I didn't do was get a concussion from hitting my head! My helmet did suffer damage and needed to be replaced. I am sure other helmets could have performed as well, but my experience led me to purchase another Lumos Ultra.
It’s a cool product but it’s NOT worth the premium price.
Pros:
-Very bright
-Very strong magnets keep them attached to your bike
Cons:
- Battery life depletes very fast.
- Charging takes a long time and is a pain in the ass (must be charged wirelessly with cradle or 4-pack — NOT USB-C.
- 4-pack
- is not in any way travel friendly; it folds only partially about is very bulky and kept close with a cheap magnetic strap.
- the lights can also overheat when charging and just stop charging
- the UX is also very cumbersome (picking flash patterns, syncing, etc)
- the brake light feature is also VERY sensitive (even if I am not braking, it will activate and deplete the battery faster. I can’t figure out how to turn that feature off,.
Outstanding MIPS bike helmet. Neon green with excellent front and rear lights with variable patterns! 👍🚴👍
The padding was very easy to replace and still feel very confident in the helmet I wear and purchased. Very prompt and a pleasure to work with.
I love the helmet but I recommend the next:
- Visor Rain Repellent: it’s so difficult to see under the rain with the visor
- improve the battery life of the helmet: I use the helmet every day, in the morning and in the evening (almost 2 hours per day), and the battery run out so quickly, which forces me to only use it at night
I ordered the Firefly lights and the cradle, and then I waited. I sent the support two emails asking for my order with zero response. And when it finally came it doesn’t work as promised. According to the manual it should take 5 hours to fully charge the light. I have now been waiting for more than 14 hours. I am about to give up on this company. You have been warned.
