Ricordo il Kickstarter ed ero entusiasta di vederlo diventare realtà sul mercato più ampio. Di solito spendevo al massimo 80 dollari per un casco in passato. Ma spendere così tanto per questo ne è valsa la pena. Si adatta come nessun altro casco che abbia mai posseduto. Fatto davvero bene. Facile da usare. Le luci e le funzionalità sono incredibili. Ho preso la versione MiPS e mi sento ancora più comodo e sicuro. Design fantastico, bello da vedere e funzionale, soprattutto. Lo consiglio vivamente. Probabilmente ne prenderò un altro tra qualche mese per un colore diverso.

La durata migliorata della batteria è significativa. Elimina la necessità di trasportare e ricaricare il casco per tutte le uscite superiori alle 2 ore. Il telecomando sinistro/destro del manubrio non ha più avuto bisogno di essere ricaricato da quando l'ho ricevuto. Il vecchio dispositivo di segnalazione remoto richiedeva una ricarica settimanale. Un bel cambiamento!!!!!! Le variazioni effettive della visibilità alla luce sono difficili da determinare. Grazie per gli aggiornamenti. Sono un appassionato di ciclismo di 71 anni. I vostri aggiornamenti e le modifiche ai vostri prodotti sono entusiasmanti e confortanti per me. Quest'anno ho un obiettivo di 8 km.
Qualche settimana fa ho avuto un incidente in bicicletta e mi sono ritrovato con un polmone perforato, cinque costole rotte, vari graffi e lividi e un pezzo mancante del mio casco Lumos. Ma la mia testa è rimasta illesa, nessuna lesione. Ho acquistato la versione MIPS e credo che sia per questo che il collo non mi faceva nemmeno male il giorno dopo. Grazie, Lumos, per questo prodotto eccellente. Ha fatto il suo lavoro alla grande e lo sostituirò con un altro casco Lumos.

My son loves this helmet. Great fit for teen and stylish. Loves to control the lights and the turn signals are quick from handlebar controller. I have the peace of mind knowing it has MIPS.

Lumos Ultra
This is my second Lumos Helmet. I first got the Kickstarter helmet in 2017 and loved it dearly. However, at the time it was only available in size M and that's too big for me. This and the option of having MIPS made me get the Lumos Ultra. It's a nice helmet, but to be honest, I prefer the Kickstarter model. I would have liked to have the turn signals also on the front and I have to say the breaking lights on the Lumos Ultra compared to the Kickstarter are disappointing. While in the Kickstarter version more LED's turned red and made it very noticeable, the blinking lights of the Ultra are sort of difficult to notice. It would be nice to have the option in the app to choose for example "boost" (the LEDs getting brighter) as breaking signal. I am well aware of the fact, that the Lumos E Bike Helmet is the one, that fits my wishes but again, that one only comes in the size M. Speaking of adjustments in the app - hearing the sound of the turning signal being switched on is very hard even in light traffic. I was hoping I could adjust the volume of the audio turn signal in the app - but I can't and it honestly makes me wonder how that hasn't been noticed/through of. All in all it's a fine helmet. But it is, unfortunately, again a(n expensive) compromise for me.
