Will be great under a different helmet. Will be returning Lumos helmet as it doesn’t pair with app. Customer Sevices is none existent

... der Visor könnte größer sein (mehr Schutz) und das Wichtigste: stabiler. Ich trage den Helm als Pendler jeden Tag, bei jedem Wetter. Aktuell hält ein Visor bei mir nur knapp ein Jahr, dann löst sich das Klettband am Visor (das am Helm hält bombenfest) und die seitlichen Laschen lösen sich auf und baumeln dann im Sichtfeld herum.
Aktuell kaufe ich noch nach, begebe mich aber so langsam auf die Suche nach Alternativen.

Compact, long battery life, syncs with my Lumos Ultra e-bike helmet. What's not to love? The turn signals are a game changer, drivers seem to be super aware of me as a cyclist, and far more aware of the lights than hand signals.

Recently, my son suffered a nasty fall striking the back of his head. Thankfully his helmet did its job exceptionally well. The MIPS protection was outstanding. We always hope we never have the cross this bridge, but grateful the outcome is positive. I will be replacing this with another Lumos helmet....Thank you Lumos!!

I ride with a Lumos Ultra and love it. But it is an XL size. The Ultra E Bike is not offered in XL, I measured per the instructions and fell within the description size of a L. Now that I have the helmet it is obviously too small. The shell is tight, the back of the head does not have adequate protection and the front visor rests on my upper cheek bones. In the event of a crash I am afraid that the helmet would cause substantial injury. Don’t get me wrong, fantastic helmet. Great features, just not the one for me. I am awaiting a response from customer support on a return.

The level of customer service is so poor. My helmet is still on the dining table. In 3 days if still no response it will be returned

I love my Lumos Helmet for early morning rides or as we approach fall in the Midwest and night comes sooner, I can trust my helmet is ready to lite the trails while providing turn signal indicators for fellow drivers. With the addition of Lumos Lite Remote, I can easily move it around my stable of bikes for added security and convenience for turn signal remote. The bluetooth connection to the helmet is a great way to ensure my signal is guaranteed to work!

The new set of pads were installed in the same locations and worked very good as replacements. Especially the old rear pad was torn and this had affected the helmet's comfort.

Lumos Firefly Charging Cradle

The helmet, which was no longer functional and therefore no longer available and therefore could not be repaired, was quickly replaced by the new one.

Unlike Apple's MagSafe, the yellow charging pause light was constantly lit on while charging the Firefly. I suspect that its awkward shape prevents it from dissipating heat well.

Love the advanced features of this helmet including the remote blinkers and the customizable settings for the light patterns.

Of all the helmets I’ve ever owned, and I’ve had quite a few, the Lumos is extremely comfortable, and the one that fits me the absolute best. And when I was having a problem with the turn signals remote switch Lumos replaced it immediately. Great product, wonderful service, I’m completely satisfied and highly recommend Lumos.

I bought this helmet as I wanted something light and sporty for my commute. I'm very pleased, build quality is great. Everything is exactly as described. The magnetic clasp works perfectly. The biggest thing though is the battery life, I think I've only had to charge it 3 times in 5 months. And I use it every work day for an hour. Not entirely sure what kind of black magic is in play here, but not complaining! Would whole heartedly recommend.

It's a rather expensive product, but they're probably the most feature extensive bike lights you can buy. Especially the signaling (blinker) function makes it worth it for me, although it's best used in combination with their blinker remote (and the sadle bracket for the rear lights), addin to the price. The overall experience is very user friendly: the pairing process (both between the lights as with your phone), the useage and setting the lights' modes on the app are all intuitive and fast.

I experienced some bugs with the app at some point, but they communicated a fix via email and it's clear they're working on it.

The most negative point for me was that one of the lights started acting up after trying to turn it off (by long pressing), a subsequent firmware update didn't go through properly (it never indicated it finished updating), and after a few more uses the light got bricked (or something): when connected to the charger, it showed the small green light indicating it's fully charger, but it couldn't be turned on anymore. After explainig the problem via email, I got send a new light free of charge within 2-3 weeks of my first email.

So overal I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I have already used my new Lumos Helmet Winter Liner numerous times on my early morning bicycle rides along the lake. I especially like how the liner is designed to perfectly fit the inside of the helmet with velcro tabs, and how the liner “cups” and protects my ears to keep out the cold wind. Highly recommended.
