Does Lumos Nyxel come with a remote?

Yes. Nyxel Standard and Mips come with the Lumos Remote Lite, a wireless handlebar remote for the turn signals. Nyxel Mips + Quin comes with the Lumos Remote.

Which version should I choose?

All three versions have the same 360° lights, turn signals and fit, and meet the CPSC and EN 1078 safety standards. Mips adds a low-friction layer designed to help reduce rotational forces from certain angled impacts. Mips + Quin adds Quin crash detection, a Fidlock magnetic buckle and the Lumos Remote.

How do I use the turn signals?

Press left or right on the included remote. Nyxel shows turn signals on both the front and the rear of the helmet.

Does it have brake lights?

Yes, with the Lumos Remote. It detects sudden braking and turns on the brake lights automatically. The Lumos Remote comes with Mips + Quin and is sold separately for Standard and Mips.

How does Quin crash detection work?

Sensors in Nyxel Mips + Quin detect a crash and, through the Quin app on your phone, send your location to your emergency contacts.

How does it charge, and how long does the battery last?

It charges over USB-C. One charge lasts up to 12 hours in Night Ride mode, up to 17 hours 50 minutes in Day Ride (battery saver) mode, or up to 2 hours 50 minutes Always On.

Can I replace the battery?

Yes. Nyxel has a replaceable battery, so you can swap in a new one instead of replacing the helmet.

How do I find my size?

Measure around the widest part of your head, just above the eyebrows and ears. S fits 52–56 cm, M fits 55–59 cm and L fits 58–63 cm.

What is in the box?

The helmet, a USB-C charging cable, the Remote Lite (the Lumos Remote with Mips + Quin), 2 silicone bands, a user manual, a quick start guide and a warranty card.

What is the warranty?

A 1-year warranty from the date of delivery. If your helmet is damaged in an accident within 2 years, get 30% off a replacement through the Accident Replacement Program.
